Before I switched to all-natural beauty products, I was crazy about Thai whitening soaps, creams, and lotions. Yes, plural :P
I even took their best-selling Glutathione because I was so desperate to achieve that "puting artista" skin. Little did I know, everything we put on our skin may cause harm to our bodies in the long run. Good thing I read my colleague's organic beauty blog and learned a lot from her.
After constantly reading her blogs, I immediately stopped doing my beauty regimen. Then I remembered Human Heart Nature and looked for an alternative. Let's be honest, those Thai products were really impressive, my skin became radiant, soft and smooth.
(Here comes the big BUT...) But after I stopped using them, my skin became dull, dry, and butligs started to appear. So I bought several HN products and tried them one by one (just to make sure if each of the product is hiyang for me).
Hydrating Creamy Wash
Here's the product description from their website:
Transform dull and dry skin to soft, supple and stunningly younger-looking with our Hydrating Facial Wash’s moisture boost formulation. It's rich with nature's best beauty secrets of all-natural cleansers and moisture boosters, and Mother Nature's own nutritional powerboost, moringa – an overflowing well of vitamins E, C and A. Now you can step out into the limelight with skin that’s oh-so-soft and hydrated.
Does your skin…
- Usually feel rough, dry and occasionally flaky?
- Look lackluster, thin and nearly transparent?
- Feel tight and sensitive after washing?
Your skin assessment: Dehydrated
I got all 3 :,(
I was using Tofu Soap for my face, its claim is to tighten pores, its effect was your skin will feel tighter on every wash. I thought it was a good sign because my face felt batak and smooth, but there's a tingly feel if you leave it on your skin for more than a minute.
So I realized the Tofu soap actually made my skin dehydrated. Then I tried HN's Hydrating Creamy Wash.
It has a very subtle floral scent and so silky on the skin. Just a pea size is enough to hydrate your face. I use it during the day after taking a bath. After a couple of days, the flakes on my face disappeared.
What I love about it:
-my skin feels clean, soft and smooth
-no more dryness and flakes on my face
-I felt the difference in just one wash
-does not make you face tight and dry
-no sting feel

After 2 weeks and no breakouts, I started using HN's Balancing Face Toner. The product description?
Complete your natural face routine with the improved formulation of Balancing Face Toner! Bursting with manila elemi, a prized ingredient known for its skin-care benefits and healing properties, and sugar beet, now you can help keep oil under control for shine-free, refreshed skin!
This helps you stay away from alcohol-based toners that can strip your skin dry. Your skin deserves a gentle yet effective cleanser without the stinging and tightening. And what’s best is that it preps your skin for what should come next – moisturizing! The end result? Stunningly clear, shine-free skin!
Does your skin …
- Have enlarged pores, dark marks, and blackheads?
- Usually look shiny and have a slippery texture?
- Need constant re-application of makeup?
Your skin assessment: Combination to oily
Well, my skin is somehow oily so I tried this. Although Human Nature has several toners, I wanted to try this first.
What I love about it:
-100% Natural
-no sting
-I love the citrusy scent
-reduced oiliness on my face
Overall, I love Human Nature because almost all of their products are 100% natural and the best part is, their products are really, really affordable!
I checked other local brands that also uses natural/organic ingredients and Human Heart Nature is the most budget-friendly brand.
Now, spot the hidden Mickey :) :) :)
